Week 2: Multimedia Design Process
Reflection:
First, Prof. Jamal remind all students of this course to introduce our self in e-Learning UTM webpage.
Second, he talked about our assignment and topics. Also should be mention Prof. Jamal make an effort to make groups and choose members by our self, while every group includes 4 persons.
Final, we choose of “THE INCREDIBLES” name for our group.
The topic of course by this week is
Multimedia Development Process.
To development an educational courseware, running of concept of Instructional Design Models is so important, while the types of courseware playing important role in development process.
The ADDIE model is as a general model.
Instructional Design Model
What is the ADDIE instructional design model? To begin, instructional design refers to the process of instructional program development from start to finish.
The ADDIE model is a systematic instructional design model consisting of five phases: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. Various flavors and versions of the ADDIE model exist.
Phase 1 : Analyze
- Analyze learner characteristics, task to be learned.
- Identify Instructional Goals,
- Conduct Instructional Analysis,
- Analyze Learners and Contexts.
Phase 2 : Design
- Develop learning objectives
- Choose an instructional approach.
- Write Performance Objectives
- Develop Assessment Instruments,
- Develop Instructional Strategy
Phase 3 : Develop
- Create instructional or training materials
- Design and selection of materials appropriate for learning activity
- Design and Conduct Formative Evaluation
Phase 4 : Implement
- Deliver or distribute the instructional materials
Phase 5 : Evaluate
- Make sure the materials achieved the desired goals
